Ron and Nathan can think of no better way to close out season one of Sloan the Record that to do an episode all about the wonderful wife and mother who shaped their lives, Susan Sloan. Both men take turns sharing thoughts on what makes Susan's personality so unique, delightful, and cherished as they try to convey a fraction of how much they love her, so very much. We couldn't do a podcast about life in the Sloan family without a whole episode dedicated to Susan. We love you, mama!

We're Glad You're Here!
If you have any interest in seeing what life was like for one family in the late 20th century in rural NC, you've come to the right place.
In creating this podcast, I really hoped to capture a slice of time before my first child, a son, was born. What better way to do that than by enlisting my dad to tell me stories of his life stretching back to the 1950's. Along the way we share plenty of laughs as well as revisiting tender moments.
